We're getting our first big heat wave this weekend in Jersey. The kids and I decided to seize the opportunity and make the most of the heat by taking out the pool. Daddy went to work for the day and Grandma and Pop-pop came up for a bbq and to hang out. We enjoyed some food and music and sat by the pool for most of the afternoon. Nicholas and Addie had a great time splashing in the pool and playing with their sand toys. They did a great job of keeping Mommy and Grandma nice and cool by pouring water over their feet!
It was pretty hot today, 95 degrees at least, but we definitely beat the heat with our pool and some air conditioned eating breaks! The kids are now playing and hopefully will be heading to bed in the next hour or so. They must be exhausted from all their water play and being in the sun all day! Or at least I'm hoping they are.....

Last year we had to fight with Nicholas to get in the pool, now we can't keep him out!
In addition to sun block we applied the t-shirt block to keep our bathing beauty from burning

Looks like fun. We will have to get the kids together for a swim party! It is gonna have to be in your pool since ours is more like a puddle. Looked bigger in the picture! :o(
I would so be in that pool. Where can i get one..? LOL
