A good friend of mine recently put together a playgroup for moms in our area and the surrounding areas. Today was our first meetup and we went to Elmo's Birthday Party at a local Border's Books. The event was actually pretty fun- at least for the kids! They played pin the nose on Elmo and Pass the Elmo (similar to hot potato) and then had storytime. After storytime all of the kids were able to make a present for Elmo and then we picked out books for the kids!
The kids had a lot of fun getting to run around and dance and hear all about Elmo. And the parents had a lot of fun watching the kids and socializing!
