We headed back to the Sussex County Fair today, just as promised!
Heather and I took the kids-Nicholas, Addison and Camryn- for the day and they all really enjoyed themselves! Nicholas rode some more rides while the girls looked on from their cushy spots in the stroller. After the rides we wandered around the fair going through the different tents and seeing the different crafts and booths. Nicholas even got to pick up his first Obama sticker! He wore it with such pride!!
After picking up our political support stickers, we headed to the petting zoo and saw a bunch of animals. I tried to get Nicholas to feed them but he was afraid they might bite him. Lucky for me I had already purchased the "feed" so I got to feed the animals! They didn't bite and Nicholas thought it was hysterical watching them lick my hands. After the petting zoo, we caught the tractor parade and then headed over to the Ronetco Tent, aka Shop-Rite, where Nicholas got to "milk" a "cow" and ride a mini tractor. The Shop-Rite Tent was dedicated just to kids. There were all sorts of things to play with and try that would be on the farm. Nicholas really enjoyed running around and just having a fun time with other kids!
Finally, we wrapped up our day with one more ride and some milkshakes! The kids, and Heather and I, were hot and spent! Both girls fell asleep on the car ride home and Nicholas sufficiently vegged out to "Finding Nemo" on the DVD player! All in all, it was a really fun time and I'm glad we had the opportunity to experience the fair twice!
The Gruesome Twosome ready to go!!
We had a few people ask us if they were twins...they are only 2 days apart!

As much as it looks like he doesn't, Nicholas loves these things!
When he sees one, he HAS to have his picture taken.

The picture of Nicholas as Bozo is great!!! LOL! I think Addie looks just like her mom in these pictures.
