The kids and I spent the day with Aunt Jen and Tommy today. Both the Daddies were working today. In an effort to save gas and driving time for both of us, we met halfway between both our houses. We had thought it was supposed to rain but it happily turned out beautiful! We had lunch. Mexican, at a restaurant we mostly likely will never return to. Then we enjoyed some milk and cookies, or the kids did. Then did a few laps around the mall and tried to convince Nicholas to let me buy him "Cars" sunglasses and flip flops. He vetoed the idea. Finally, we ended up at a local park where the kids got to expend any remaining energy. It was definitely a fun adventure!! The perfect way to spend a Saturday!
