This morning at 10:42am Carrington Jane turned 1 year old and then at 10:44am her sister Madelyn Carter did the same.
One year ago today we welcomed the two little beings that completed our family and this weekend we're going to celebrate them!
Carrington is walking like a crazy woman (a crazy drunk woman) and Madelyn is just a few weeks behind her. Both girls are babbling more and more and their first words are coming any day now.
Today, we woke up and dressed the girls in their birthday shirts and then headed out to Nicholas and Addison's school for their walk a thon. Addie and I then headed to Costco to get some party supplies and some goodies to bring to the doctors and nurses at the hospital as a big Thank You for everything they did for us a year ago. Now, the girls are napping, the older kids are at school and I'm reminiscing and getting ready to finish up party prep! Later, we'll head to grandma and pop-pop's for a birthday dinner and some cake!
Tomorrow is full of soccer, cake baking, cleaning, decorating and more celebrating. Then Sunday we're going to participate in our first Miracle Walk (still time to donate!) at Verona Park and finally after that it will be time to PARTY!
This past year has flown by and we have been incredibly lucky and blessed to have been surrounded by such an incredible support system of family and friends. A Big Thank You goes out to everyone who has been with us for everything and anything!
And a very Big Happy Birthday to our One Year Old Girls!!
