As many of you know, the girls were born quite early and spent the first few weeks of their lives in the NICU at St. Barnabas Medical Center. We will be forever grateful to the caring and skilled staff there for everything that they did for us and our family.
Today, we were able to give back some of that support by participating the Miracle Walk.
Miracle Walk raises money for the NICU so that they can continue to help more babies and families to go on and have success stories like ours.
We walked with 2000 other people and helped to raise over $425,000 and we couldn't have done it without support from so many of you!
This is a cause that will be forever near and dear to our hearts because without that NICU we may not have had our girls.
It was incredible to spend the morning surrounded by people who knew miracles just like ours. We even unexpectedly ran into the family that we met our first week in the NICU. They had twin boys born exactly a month before the girls and we would spend a lot time feeding together and chatting.
It was wonderful to see how much both of our sets of twins were thriving and growing.
It really served to reinforce the incredible job that the doctors and nurses are doing every single day!
I didn't take many pictures but I did get a few...hopefully next year, we'll have more!
