Liberty Science Center

My mom and I took the kids to the Liberty Science Center today.
Initially, I thought it was going to be ridiculously crowded and crazy and a piece of me was NOT looking forward to it!
I was HAPPILY wrong!
The center was busy but it was NOT crazy and the kids had a WONDERFUL time running around and trying out all of the different experiments and exhibits.  We saw everything from magma to plasma to skyscrapers to how germs are spread!!
It was definitely a great way to get out of the freezing cold we're currently having, as well as the perfect way to spend my last day of break!!

Happy New Year 2010!

We had a wonderful time welcoming 2010!
Last night, after a morning of snow and an afternoon of napping, we went to the house of friends' of ours to ring in the New Year.  We spent the evening enjoying Chinese food, sushi, good wine and great conversation.  After eating we engaged in a friendly little Wii competition between families.  I'm really not sure who won, but it was quite humorous to watch the 30-something men battle against Nicholas and his 4.5 year old skills!
We hope that everyone had a wonderful New Year's Eve and we want everyone to have a wonderfully Happy and Blessed 2010!  May this new year bring you wonderful moments full of family, friendship and endless blessings!!
I didn't take too many pictures but here are a few!
