Cool Baby!
We discovered over the past few days that Addison tends to stay wide awake when we get her down to her skivvies! We're trying to keep her up longer so she sleeps longer at night! Here are a few shots from Grandma and Grandpa's of her on the floor enjoying being cool. Who do you think she looks like?
The End of a Haircut
As we mentioned last time Nicholas has had a range of bad haircuts and the only way to fix them was to shave his head and "start from scratch." I started buzzing him yesterday when the razor died. Well, today we headed down to grandma and grandpa's where grandma helped us out and we finished shaving Nicholas' head, even though he wasn't in love with idea. Trying to snap a picture of the finished product was next to impossibloe...hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to get one! He looks quite cute with the buzz, actually older and very much like an Army Recruit!!

First BBQ of the Season!
Well, we had our first bbq of the season and had Uncle Geoff and Aunt Jen and their new baby Tommy over as well as our friends and neighbors, Josh and Jenn and their good friend Todd. It seems like a good time was had by all even though the rain did invade! Here are a few pics of Nicholas doing his best John Belushi impersonation with his College shirt!
We were also able to snap a few pics of Nicholas alone and with Uncle Geoff and Josh. What you can't see is that Nicholas quickly tried to escape the grips of Uncle Geoff as soon as possible after I snapped this picture! Also, you might be able to catch the haircut snafu on Nicholas' head! Nicholas has had haircut after haircut that have just come out terrible! We decided to shave his head and "start from scratch". Well, I started this adventure this morning and it was going ok until the battery in the razor died. We're hoping to finish up this bad hair day tomorrow with a full head buzz!!
Happy Spring everyone! BBQ season is here!!

Tummy Floor Time....Again!
And so it continues...Addison is experiencing more and more floor time and tummy time each day and actually is beginning to enjoy it a little bit. More often than not, she just falls asleep on her tummy! (Her brother did the same thing!)
Here are a few pics from last night. Addie is enjoying her Me in the Mirror (Thanks Aunt Margaret and Uncle Dom) and showing us how much she adores her hand me down boppy!
Addie is starting to transition out of that sleep all day phase, even though she's really only an average newborn size now. We are very excited that she's awake during the day more than asleep for so many reasons! First, we get to play with her and so does big brother Nicholas. And second, we're hoping she's going to start sleeping more at night! (Hope I didn't jinx that!!)

One Month Old....Yesterday!
Yesterday was Addison's one month birthday! Unfortunately, our house is being ravaged by a stomach virus so I didn't have a chance to snap any pictures of her!
Here are some shots from this morning. As you can see she is quite comfortable in her glider. I wouldn't mind one in adult size!
Happy Birthday Addie!

Addison's Adventure
Addison had her first "big adventure" yesterday! Over the past few days Addie has been gracing us with her projectile vomit. Since it was pretty persistent I decided to take her in to see our pediatrician. Well, our doctor decided we needed to run a few tests and sent us right over to the hospital to have an abdomen ultrasound done on our little peanut. So we headed to the Goryeb children's center at Morristown Memorial Hospital and grandma met us there to support mommy and Addie while grandpa took care of Nicholas.
Everyone at the hospital was super nice and helpful! Addie was taken in for her ultrasound, which she did not enjoy, AT ALL! It was pretty fascinating to watch the ultrasound, especially since it was a chance to see inside Addie rather than looking at her inside me! The doctors were able to watch Addie drink and swallow and start to digest her formula as she was downing her bottle. They were looking to make sure the opening from her stomach to the rest of her digestive tract was working correctly. Thankfully, it was working great! We are just waiting on one more test result but it looks like our peanut has some pretty serious acid reflux! YUCK! Luckily, reflux is pretty easy to treat...we switched her formula and put her on some Pepcid and hopefully in a few days Addie will be back to normal!! And no more vomit for mommy and daddy!!

Grandpa's Birthday Party!
Nicholas had a lot of fun running around outside and playing
with his cousin Quinn, Kaes' big sister. They both shared their toys and just had good time running around. Pat was good enough to take on the very large task of following Nicholas just about everywhere he went today! He is quite tuckered out! I think he had a good time though too, helping Nicholas get dirty and have some fun!

Happy Easter and Easter Eve
Happy Easter everyone!
We headed over to grandma and grandpa's yesterday to color some Easter eggs and make some calzones. Our family tradition has always been
Today we headed back to grandma and grandpa's where Nicholas and Addie were greeted by fabulous Easter baskets. Nicholas was able to hunt for eggs and also helped Mommy and Grandma roll out the dough and make the ravioli for dinner!
We were able to get Nicholas to slow down for just a few minutes and sit down and hold Addie for a picture of both kids in their Easter outfits!
We hope everyone had a wonderfully blessed Easter!!
