A Spooktackular Halloween!!

Happy Halloween Everyone!!
We started celebrating Halloween last night by getting our pumpkins ready.
Nicholas helped to design an awesome Jack-O-Lantern that Daddy expertly carved!
Then Mommy and Daddy worked together on a Notre Dame Pumpkin. Daddy did the real artistry. Mommy did the ND.
Finally, Mommy worked on her "Change" pumpkin.
They came out pretty good, if I do say so myself!!

The celebration continued today with the kids having a parade and party at school.
I picked them up and we came home and got ready for Trick or Treating!!
Daddy came home, we lit the pumpkins, climbed into costumes, and headed out the door for some yummy candy!
Nicholas looked adorable as a Killer Whale and Addison was positively perfect as a Lady Bug!
Thanks to Aunt Jen for the Lady Bug and my friend Kathy for Killer Whale! They were GREAT!!
We walked, and rolled via wagon, through the neighborhood and down into the development next to us. The kids did great with their 'Trick or Treat' and 'Thank Yous'.
And they made out like bandits with their candy!!
We got home, sampled some of the loot and everyone, except Mommy and Daddy, is now in bed!!
We had a great Halloween and the pictures to prove it! :)
Enjoy and Happy Halloween!!

"Apple Picking"

Well, this has been quite the week!!

We were supposed to go apple picking today with a bunch of friends but the weather was just not on our side!! It POURED here for most of the day and when it wasn't pouring it's was just plain gross out. Instead of canceling and not spending the day with one another, everyone came up to our house and we had a great time hanging out, drinking and eating with one another! The kids had a fabulous time running around and tackling one another. All the adults just enjoyed being together and making new friends.
We had great food, great drink, and great company! It was exactly what was needed to end the week that we had!!

This turns ugly from here....Addison does NOT enjoy having her feet tickled!

I SAID DON'T TICKLE MY FEET UNCLE PAUL!!!!!

What you can't see is that Nicholas is a TOTAL traitor here!
That's a BoSox hat!!

Super Duper Saturday

After a hectic week of city travels, lots of work commitments, lunches and happy hours with friends, and lots of school work for both Pat and I, the kids and I headed down the shore for the day. Mizzy and I drove the kids down to Aunt Jen's house to spend the day with her and Tommy. We had no real plans for the day, just to enjoy each other's company and have the kids play. We spent the first part of day at Aunt Jen's house enjoying lunch and the kids played with every single toy Aunt Jen and Uncle Geoff and Tommy own!

After lunch we headed out into the windy but beautiful day to see Uncle Geoff at a "festival" of service professionals. We met up with Uncle Geoff and many of his co-workers at nearby park. The kids got to check out Ambulances and police cars and dogs and even a rescue chopper!! After exploring the ambulance and the chopper we spent some time at the playground. Following the playground we headed back to Aunt Jen's house where we enjoyed some cupcakes and hot chocolate while the kids terrorized the backyard and burned off all of their energy!!

Mizzy and I piled the kids in the car and headed home after we had sufficiently tired everyone out!! Within minutes, Nicholas and Addison were out cold and Mizzy and I enjoyed chatting on the way home. Between Mizzy and I, we took an enormous amount of pictures!
Enjoy!!
